Point of reference: something that is used to judge or understand something else

I’ve been interested in finding that first “something” since I discovered glossaries, followed by encyclopedias, card catalogs and eventually the world wide web. Research of any kind is interesting to me, but for the last two decades I’ve put quite a bit of time into Genealogy.

Sometimes the process of learning the who, what, when, where and why’s of a family history is as interesting as the answers themselves. In the posts I’m hoping to briefly summarize some of the projects I’ve undertaken and their outcomes.
